2nd FIKTA Coppa Italia 2026: Traditional Karate at Pala Cattani
Faenza confirms its role as a martial arts capital by hosting the second 2026 Coppa Italia. The event, sponsored by the Municipality of Faenza, will see hundreds of athletes competing in the specialties of Kata (form) and Kumite (sparring), both individual and team.

Competition Schedule
Saturday, April 25th: Competitive, Beginners, and Master Categories
Meeting from 09:30 AM, competitions start at 10:00 AM. The day is dedicated to the Beginners (12-14 years old), Cadets, Hopefuls, Juniors, Seniors, and Master categories. Individual and team Kata, and individual and team Kumite competitions will take place.
Sunday, April 26th: Youth Categories
Meeting from 09:30 AM, competitions start at 10:00 AM. The youngest athletes take center stage: Chicks (6-7 years old), Children (8-9 years old), and Kids (10-11 years old) categories engaged in Kata and Kumite trials.
Registration Information
Registrations must be completed by Technical Representatives exclusively through the federal portal www.fikta.cloud by April 12th, 2026.
- Fees: €20 per specialty (Beginners/Masters), €15 per specialty (Chicks/Children/Kids).
- Requirements: 2026 FIKTA membership and a valid medical certificate (competitive sports certificate for those 12 and older).
- Exclusions: Brown and black belt competitors (ages 15-35) do not participate in the Coppa Italia, as they qualify directly for the Absolute Championships.
