35th Countryside Footrace in Pieve Cesato
The unmissable April 30th appointment returns to Pieve Cesato. Founded in 1990, the “Podistica della Campagna” celebrates its 35th edition this year, confirming its status as one of the most beloved non-competitive races for Faenza athletes and those who wish to enjoy the rural landscape at sunset.
Route Details
Participants can choose between two options, based on their fitness level:
- Recreational-Motor Walk: 10 km (classic route).
- Mini Walk: 2 km (ideal for children and families).
Useful Info and Times
- When: Thursday, April 30th, 2026.
- Meeting Point: At the Parish Sports Field in Pieve Cesato, Faenza.
- Registration: Opening at 5:30 PM directly on-site.
- Start: 7:00 PM.
- Organizational Contribution: €3.00 for everyone.
Prizes and Recognition
As per Romagnolo tradition, the effort is well rewarded:
- Participation Prize: Food items guaranteed for all registered participants.
- Club Awards: All clubs with a minimum of 10 participants will receive an award.
Safety and Regulations
The event is covered by ambulance assistance with medical staff and an AED. Please remember that the route is not closed to traffic; therefore, compliance with traffic laws is mandatory. Upon registration, participants declare their physical fitness, releasing the organization from any liability.
