“A SPASS”: The UNESCO Grand Tour between the majolica of Faenza and the chalk village of Brisighella
In the months of June and August 2026, the new events with “A SPASS: Faenza and Brisighella. “Where nature becomes art.” An exclusive guided coach tour organized to discover the historical, artistic, and food and wine beauties of the Romagna hinterland, departing conveniently from the main towns of the Riviera.
The Day’s Program: From Neoclassical Art to DOP Olive Oil
The daily itinerary includes a guided immersion in unique monuments and traditional flavors:
- Morning in Faenza: The tour begins with a stroll through Faenza’s historic center to discover its precious neoclassical heritage and the collections of the Municipal Art Gallery. Next, we’ll visit the halls of the MIC (International Museum of Ceramics), the largest ceramic art museum in the world with over 60,000 works. Inside the museum, participants will be able to witness the creation of a real ceramic artifact in a dedicated workshop.
- Lunch: A rich buffet lunch featuring traditional Romagna products and recipes will be served mid-day.
- Afternoon in Brisighella: Transfer to Brisighella, certified among the “Most Beautiful Villages in Italy.” Here, we will visit the imposing Rocca Manfrediana and Venetian Fortress (dating back to the early 1300s) and the famous Via degli Asini, the ancient and unique elevated porticoed street from the 14th century. The tour will conclude with a guided tasting of the renowned Brisighella Extra Virgin Olive Oil, one of the region’s finest olive oils.
Dates, Times, and Departure Points (Pick-up)
The tour will take place on two unique dates: Wednesday, June 24th and Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
The experience lasts a full day (from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm) with departures from the following pick-up points on the coast:
- Milano Marittima: 9:00 am – Piazzale Mantova car park (adjacent to Viale Forlì).
- Cervia: 9:10 am – Lungomare Grazia Deledda, in front of the Hotel Conchiglia (near the Conchiglia Lido).
Participation Fees and Special Family Packages
The ticket price is all-inclusive and includes round-trip transportation by GT coach, a full-day tour guide, Entrance fees to museums and monuments, a live ceramics workshop, a buffet lunch, and a final olive oil tasting.
