Aalener Sinfonieorchester in Concert: A Journey Through the Classics
Faenza is hosting a special stop on the 2026 tour of the Aalener Sinfonieorchester. The orchestra from Aalen (Germany), a unique ensemble that brings together professional musicians, amateurs, and talented students from the Aalen School of Music, arrives at Cinema Sarti for an evening dedicated to masterpieces of the Baroque and Classical eras.

The Evening’s Program
Under the direction of Conductor Delia Ramos Rodriguez, the orchestra will perform a high-profile repertoire:
- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Overture from the opera Idomeneo.
- Antonio Vivaldi: The Four Seasons (Spring RV 269 and Summer RV 315).Solo Violin: Damian Dimitrov.
- Joseph Haydn: Symphony No. 104 in D major “London”, the Austrian composer’s last and most famous symphony.
The Orchestra
The Aalen Symphony Orchestra is known for its dynamism and versatility. In addition to regular concerts at home, the orchestra boasts solid international experience, as demonstrated by its recent tour of South Africa in 2023. Their mission is to provide an excellent platform for young musicians, constantly collaborating with prestigious ballet companies and choirs.
