48th Edition of “Agosto d’Argento 2026”: Summer Theatre Festival in Faenza
The historic summer theatre and entertainment festival “Agosto d’Argento” returns for its 48th edition. Organised by the Filodrammatica Berton and ASP della Romagna Faentina with the patronage of the Municipality of Faenza, the event was launched in 1977 on the initiative of Don Gino Montanari and Giuliano Bettoli to offer an opportunity for entertainment and social interaction both to residents of the facility and to citizens spending the summer in the city.
Performances will take place outdoors in the charming garden of the Casa di Riposo Residenza “Il Fontanone” (Viale Stradone 7, Faenza), always starting at 9:00 pm.

Tuesday, 18 August (9:00 pm) – Grand Opening Night
- Team Dance Borgo di Faenza: New Summer Show 2026.
Folk and modern dance performances, S-ciucarèn performances, music and songs by Masters Davide Servadei and Claudia Mengozzi.
Thursday, 20 August (9:00 pm)
- Nicolas Show and Amici del Teatro di Cassanigo: “Int i cronich, a treb, par ridar in dialet”.
Featuring Nicolas Salvatori, Alfonso d’Casanigh, Mauro Vanucci (a Romagna zirudellaro) and songs by Daniela Peroni. Directed by Alfonso Nadiani.

- Compagnia Il Passaggio from Ravenna: “Romagnapoli”.
A recital and musical journey through some of the most beautiful Neapolitan and Romagna songs, accompanied by entertaining monologues. Directed by Fausto Pollio.
