“AperiGene 2026”: Gene Gnocchi’s interview-show returns to the MIC in Faenza
The Faenza summer is once again enlivened by “AperiGene. Close Encounters of Another Kind”, the interview-show series now in its fourth edition. Organized by the company Nandoeventi and hosted by the irreverent and surreal humor of Gene Gnocchi, the event will take place every Thursday evening in July 2026. The beautiful setting will be the evocative courtyard of the MIC – International Museum of Ceramics of Faenza (or the “Underground” hall in case of bad weather).
The 2026 guest lineup
Five evenings dedicated to laughter, lightness, and conviviality, featuring personalities from entertainment, music, and culture who will take part in Gene Gnocchi’s playful interviews and interact with the audience:

The event format and 2026 updates
The flexible format of the series is confirmed: with a single ticket, spectators can freely choose which moments of the evening to attend:
- 5:30 PM – Museum guided tour: A one-hour visit exploring a selected section of the MIC. 2026 new feature: limited places and advance booking is mandatory.
- 6:00 PM – Aperitif: Opening of the museum’s internal stands. This year’s wine buffet will be entirely provided by the historic sponsor Cantina Ca’ Lunga di Imola (founded in 1961), accompanied by gifts from the company Reclame di Faenza.
- 7:00 PM – Interview-show: The main moment of the Thursday evening, lasting about one hour, with direct audience participation.
