From May 14th to 18th, Solarolo awaits you with the Ascension Festival.
The Festival has ancient origins and celebrates the devotion to the Blessed Virgin of Health, who is carried in a procession through the streets of the village, starting from the Sanctuary.
The five-day program includes shows, events, and markets for hobbyists and creatives throughout the squares and streets of the center.
For the little ones, the party continues at the Luna Park, with rides and plenty of fun amidst lights and colors.
The gastronomic offer is accompanied by live music and cultural moments.
The day of May 17th is accompanied by the Passage of the Giro d'Italia through Solarolo, and for the occasion, the Festival turns pink with the Experience the Giro in Solarolo program:
- Gymkhana for children aged 5 to 11
- Piccoli Calci exhibition tournament
- Performance by the Gruppo Frustatori Cassani
- Exhibition of vintage bicycles and memorabilia from Solarolo’s cycling champions
- 9 PM - Basterd Jazz concert
