On May 3rd, the Antica Fiera di Valsenio returns. Since 1889, the Feast of the Vow to the Madonna has been an event that brings together tradition, rural culture, and devotion at the Abbey of San Giovanni Battista.

8:00 am – Arrival of animals
9:30 am – Holy Mass at the Abbey and blessing of the crosses
10:15 am – Welcome by local authorities, followed by presentation of the animals
12:15 pm – Farmers’ lunch
3:00 pm – Procession with the Madonna of the Rosary
Prayer and blessing of the animals
3:30 pm – Awards for breeders and exhibitors
6:00 pm – Fair closing

Throughout the day, the Farmer’s Refreshment Area will be open, offering breakfasts, aperitifs, and snacks with piadina, cured meats and cheeses, tarts,
ring cake, coffee, and soft drinks.
