Palazzo Milzetti: April 2026 Events
The National Museum of the Neoclassical Age in Romagna opens its doors for a month of April rich in history, art, and brand-new discoveries. From Easter celebrations to high-level conferences, and the chance to visit the museum’s newest acquisition: the “Capanna Rustica” (Rustic Hut).

Sunday, April 5th – Easter (#Domenicalmuseo)
Extraordinary opening 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM | Free Entry
The museum joins the ministerial initiative with continuous opening throughout the holiday.
Monday, April 6th – Easter Monday
4:30 PM Guided Tour: “Feasts, rituals, and banquets of a noble family”
A journey through the kitchens and ballrooms to discover how people lived, ate, and built social identity at the table in the 18th century. (Included in the ticket, reservation recommended).
Thursday, April 9th – Remarkable Relationships
5:00 PM Conference: “Felice Giani’s drawings at the Central Institute for Graphics”
With experts Rita Bernini and Giorgio Marini. A focus on Giani’s precious sketchbooks and the upcoming restoration work. Free Entry.
Sunday, April 12th – Art Games
4:30 PM “The Unicorn Game”
Guided tour and heraldic “Game of the Goose” for children (ages 6-10) and families. A playful way to discover the secrets of the Palace decorations. (Included in the ticket).
Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 19th – Houses of Memory
On the occasion of the International Days of the Houses of Illustrious People:
• Saturday 18th: Audio tour via QR Code featuring the voices of Felice Giani and Francesco Milzetti.
• Saturday 18th (afternoon): Guided tours of the Capanna Rustica (recent Ministry acquisition) with decorations by Romolo and Tancredi Liverani. (Groups max 10 people, reservation mandatory).
• Sunday 19th: Focus on the figure of Count Francesco Milzetti, knight at Napoleon’s court.
Saturday, April 25th – Liberation Day
Opening 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM | Free Entry
Sunday, April 26th
4:30 PM – 5:30 PM (various shifts): Guided tours of the Capanna Rustica
A new opportunity to admire the wood and straw construction from 1851 that recently rejoined the museum complex.
