2026 Barter and Reuse Fair in Faenza
The Barter and Reuse Fair returns to Faenza with a new edition dedicated to reuse, sustainability and sharing. An event designed for anyone who wants to give unused objects a second life, reduce waste and enjoy a day filled with workshops, music, food and community spirit.
When and where
Date: Thursday, June 4, 2026
Time: from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Location: Parco Tassinari, Faenza
Throughout the day there will be areas dedicated to second-hand swapping, workshops, food stands, live music and beer.
How the Barter and Reuse Fair works
If you have items you no longer use but that could still be useful to someone else, you can bring them to the Barter and Reuse Fair.
Upon arrival at the fair, visitors must go to the EcoBank, the area where items are converted into tokens.
- 1 item = 1 token
- 3 items = 3 tokens
- 5 items = 5 tokens
With the tokens received, visitors can freely browse the second-hand stalls, divided into categories, and choose other items to take home.
Each item is always worth 1 token, regardless of its economic value.
Items that can be traded
- Clothes and bags
- Shoes
- Accessories and costume jewelry
- Household items
- Tools
- Books
- Vinyl records and CDs
- Toys
- Small furniture items
- Sports equipment
- Hobby and craft materials
Special cases
Miniatures: very small objects, such as toy surprises from chocolate eggs, will be exchanged in small bags rather than individually.
Broken items: even non-working objects can be traded. They may be repaired or creatively reused by a new owner. In this case, they will be labeled with the word broken.
Trading your time
Time can also be exchanged.
If you do not have items to bring, you can participate as a volunteer:
- 1 hour of volunteering = 6 tokens

The Barter Fair etiquette
Check the condition of your items and bring only things that you would also be happy to receive. The fair works best when everyone brings clean, well-kept and usable objects.
Explore, browse and discover while respecting the space and the people around you. Searching through items is part of the fun, but it is important to put everything back in its place and leave room for others.
Adopt a more conscious lifestyle: reduce, reuse and recycle. Take only what you truly need and leave the rest for those who may need it more.
