"Frogstock 2026": the new edition of the rock festival kicks off in Riolo Terme
The Riolo Terme River Park is preparing to host one of the most anticipated events of the Romagna summer music season. From Wednesday, August 19th to Saturday, August 22nd, 2026, "Frogstock" returns, the historic music festival founded in 1994 by the Clips Rag & Rock Cultural Association. With over 30 years of history behind it and a roll of honor that boasts world legends (Deep Purple, Toto, Simple Minds) and pillars of Italian music (Elisa, Caparezza, Subsonica), the festival maintains its winning formula: great live concerts with completely free admission every evening.

Main Stage Program (August 19 – 22, 2026)
The four main protagonists of the evenings on the main stage of Frogstock 2026 will explore different genres, from folk-rock to rap, including indie and contemporary swing:
- Wednesday, August 19 – BARDOMAGNO
The festival opens with a focus on medieval folk-rock and irony, with the band led by the feudal lords of Celtic and historical pop. A concentration of energy, perfect for dancing under the stage.

Give space to the refined urban, pop, and R&B sounds of the Italian-Canadian singer-songwriter and producer, considered one of the most original, international, and eclectic voices on the contemporary Italian scene.

Friday night lights up with the overwhelming sound of the Milanese band. An overwhelming mix of swing, retro jazz, singer-songwriter songs, and fast-paced rhythms capable of transporting the audience to a 1930s club atmosphere.

The festival's grand finale features one of Italy's leading exponents of "educational rap" and storytelling. The Emilian rapper and teacher will bring his poems and rhyming literary tales to the stage, accompanied by a dense web of beats and live arrangements.

Experiencing Frogstock: the experience beyond the concerts
The gates of the River Park will open every evening starting at 7:00 PM. The festival offers the public a large area equipped with ancillary services to ensure a 360° experience:
- Risto Rock & Food and Wine: The historic official food stand will offer a complete menu every evening (downloadable directly from the festival channels) with traditional Romagna specialties and dishes designed for rock fans.
- Beverage & Cocktails: The Musical Aperitif, the RedBull Tent with dedicated cocktails, the official bars with rivers of Forst beer, and an exclusive Gintoneria for the preparation of personalized drinks based on high-quality gin will be open.
- Crafts and Socializing: The park's lawns will host a market with stalls selling local crafts and arts, a Kids' Area for families, and the historic Rock Camp, the meeting point for tents and campers.
The entire event is made possible thanks to the commitment and passion of over 200 volunteers and members of the Clips Rag & Rock Association, which constantly collaborates with the Pro Loco and local organizations in the Romagna Faentina area to promote music and youth gatherings.
