45th Giro della Romagna: The Cycle-Touring Classic
Sunday, May 10th, 2026 marks the return of the Giro della Romagna, a non-competitive cycle-touring event organized by UC Francesco Baracca. Now in its 45th edition, the event is a round of the Romagnolo Circuit and the UISP Italian Cycle-Touring Gran Fondo Criterium, blending sport, nature, and the pleasure of fine Romagnolo cuisine.

Awards Ceremony: 3:00 PM at the Pasta Party tent.
Choose your Route
Four options for every level of fitness, with GPX tracks available on the official website:
- Short (62 km – 255m D+): Ideal for those who want to enjoy the day. Passage through Terme di Riolo.
- Medio Fondo (86 km – 1028m D+): Crosses the Tre Monti and the legendary Galisterna, passing through Brisighella and Faenza.
- Fondo (138 km – 2000m D+): A demanding challenge featuring Monte Carnevale and the passage between Palazzuolo and Marradi.
- Gran Fondo (161 km – 2500m D+): The flagship route including the Sambuca and Crespino sul Lamone.
Registration and Fees
- € 15.00 until Friday, May 2nd.
- € 20.00 on Saturday, May 3rd and the morning of the event.
- Self-managed meeting: € 3.00.
Where to register in Faenza: You can register in person at Alvisi Bicycles (Via Laghi 47) or Bike Passion (Via Maestri del Lavoro 1).
The fee includes: race pack, mechanical assistance, refreshments (including gluten-free options), sag wagon, showers, and the unmissable final Pasta Party.
A special prize for female cyclists
As per tradition, a certified diamond offered by Gioielleria Ponzi in Lugo will be raffled off among all female participants.
Safety and Regulations
Roads are open to traffic: the use of a rigid helmet is mandatory as is compliance with the Highway Code. The event will take place regardless of weather conditions.
