Halloween at Palazzo Milzetti: “Il quinto arcano”, a Treasure Hunt Inspired by Joachim Murat
On Saturday 31 October 2026, at 8:45 PM, to mark the historic Fiera di San Rocco, Palazzo Milzetti presents “Il quinto arcano. Caccia al tesoro di Gioacchino Murat” (The Fifth Arcanum: Joachim Murat’s Treasure Hunt), a playful event for families, teens and adults freely inspired by historical events, curated by the Museum’s Educational Services, as part of the extraordinary Halloween evening opening.
The game draws on Joachim Murat’s passage through Faenza in April 1815, as his troops retreated after their defeat at Occhiobello: in the imagined storyline, the French general hid part of his treasure at Palazzo Milzetti, taking advantage of the references to an initiatory path devised by Francesco Milzetti. Participants embark on a search involving cards, tarot, ciphers and riddles to unravel the mystery.
