Arai Haruhiko’s Cinema in Faenza: Screening of “The Fukudamura Incident”
On Thursday 15 October 2026, at 9:00 PM, Cinema Sarti in Faenza hosts a screening of “L’incidente di Fukudamura” [Fukudamura jiken] (2023, 137 minutes), part of the retrospective “Il cinema di Arai Haruhiko, maestro dell’eros e dell’impegno civile” (The Cinema of Arai Haruhiko, Master of Eros and Civic Commitment), the first Italian retrospective dedicated to the Japanese director and screenwriter, curated by Marco Del Bene and Hiromi Yamada.
Before the screening, there will be an in-person meeting with Arai Haruhiko, introduced and moderated by Marco Del Bene, in collaboration with the Cineclub Raggio Verde. The retrospective, running in Ravenna and Faenza from 14 to 17 October, also includes further screenings at Teatro Rasi in Ravenna.
