“See You at the Park 2026”: Teatro Due Mondi’s Community Project in Faenza’s Parks

Following a successful and extensive European tour, the historic Faenza-based theatre company Teatro Due Mondi presents the sixth edition of “See You at the Park”. This community-focused initiative will bring six events for all ages to three of the city’s parks from August 24 to September 10, 2026.

Led by director Alberto Grilli, the project aims to transform urban parks into welcoming gathering places where art, nature, sport, and community life come together.

Solidarity with Gaza: All events are free and open to everyone. During each event, visitors may make a voluntary donation to support the people of Gaza. All proceeds will be donated to the Gazzella OdV Association.

Event Schedule (August – September 2026)

Torricelli Park (Corso Garibaldi, Faenza)

• • Monday, August 24, 6:00 PM – “The Kidnapping of Prince Charles”
    Traditional puppet theatre performance presented by the historic Teatro del Drago company.

• Thursday, September 10, 6:00 PM – “Circo Palacinca”
  Theatre and family entertainment performance by the Compagnia Chien Barbu Mal Rasè.

Mita Park (Via Ravegnana, Faenza)

• • Wednesday, August 26, 9:00 PM – “Liscio for Dummies”
    How to become a ballroom dancer in one lesson: an entertaining theatre performance and dance workshop by Denis Campitelli.

• Friday, August 28, 5:00 PM – “Basketball at the Park”
  An afternoon dedicated to sport, organized by Basket 3 Colli Brisighella ASD, featuring a live DJ set by DJ Hus Soli.

Garden of Legality (Piazza Dante, Faenza)

• • ‍♂️ Tuesday, September 1, 9:00 PM – “Invincible – Stories of Athletes Who Never Gave Up”
    A series of theatrical monologues celebrating resilience in sport, performed by Compagnia Teatrale La Pulce.

• Thursday, September 3 (Two Events)
  * 5:00 PM: “The Nature of the Park”, an environmental awareness activity led by volunteers from Legambiente Lamone Faenza.
  * 6:00 PM: “The Blue Little Man”, an evocative theatre performance featuring vertical acrobatics by Luca Piallini and Lara Patrizio.
