Giorgia Severi – “Losing Cultural Landscapes – Act II” at MIC Faenza
From 23 May to 13 September 2026, the Project Room at the MIC (International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza) hosts an exhibition by Giorgia Severi entitled “Losing Cultural Landscapes”, curated by Giovanni Gardini.
The exhibition is a key section of Ghost Landscapes, a large-scale project launched by the artist in 2016 to document and explore places of high cultural and natural value that are at risk of rapid transformation. This chapter focuses on Romagna, examining the rural architecture and tree species that define the region’s identity and agricultural economy.
Exhibition Details and Focus on Act II
- Act II opening: Tuesday 1 September 2026, at 6:00 pm (as part of Argillà Italia).
- Focus of Act II: A journey dedicated to the stone pine and pine forests along the Romagna coast, through the Pinus sativa series, featuring ceramic casts created in collaboration with Ceramica Gatti 1928 and frottage works on paper.
