Le Manfrediane 2026: Historical Fencing and Ancient Houses at the Palazzo del Podestà
From May 15th to 17th, 2026, the history of Faenza vibrates once again in the heart of the city. “Le Manfrediane” transforms the Palazzo del Podestà into a theater of adrenaline and culture, offering a plunge into the past through historical fencing duels, ceramic art, and the charm of ancient Faentine nobility.
🤺 The Tournament and the Houses
Five teams will compete for primacy, representing the honor of the ancient families linked to the city’s Rioni (Districts) and Gates:
- Porta Ravegnana: Quarantini, Calderoni, Cittadini, and Torelli Houses.
- Porta Ponte: Baroncini, Negusanti, Ragnoli, and Viarani Houses.
- Porta Imolese: Vittori, Ubaldini, Pasi, and Accarisi Houses.
- Porta Montanara: Mengolini, Barbavara, Severoli, and Laderchi Houses.
- Borgo Durbecco: Led by the ranks of the Order of Saint John and the Captain of the Oriolo Tower.

Beyond the combat, the event offers an immersive experience for all ages:
