La tavola, prima e dopo di noi: BorgoIndie at Faenza’s Fontanone
From 9 to 18 October 2026, the Fontanone in Faenza hosts “La tavola, prima e dopo di noi” (The Table, Before and After Us), with paintings by Luisa Albert, texts on conviviality curated by Martina Liverani, a sound design by Filippo Ianiero, and a gastronomic experience by Mariano Guardianelli (Abocar Due Cucine, Rimini) and Andrea Giacchini (Essentia, Castrocaro).
Albert’s paintings depict plates, glasses, fruit and the remains of a meal in a gathering from which the bodies are absent, raising questions of presence and memory. A real table, set up within the exhibition space, brings into the room what remains representation in the paintings, while the experience invites visitors to move from observation to an actual communal meal.
