NOAM Preview: Preview Night for the NOAM Faenza Film Festival and Screening of “Museo”
On Wednesday 14 October 2026, at 9:00 PM, Cinema Sarti in Faenza hosts NOAM Preview, the preview evening of the fourth edition of the NOAM Faenza Film Festival, dedicated to independent cinema from the United States, Canada and Mexico, taking place from 11 to 15 November 2026.
The evening opens with a presentation of the programme: the festival’s new look by Mexican illustrator Naandeyé García Villegas, Mexico as Country in Focus, the juries, competition films, previews and guests. This is followed by a free screening of “Museo” (Mexico, 2018, 128′, Spanish with Italian subtitles) by Alonso Ruizpalacios, the director receiving this year’s Career Award: on Christmas Eve 1985, two veterinary students steal over a hundred pre-Hispanic artefacts from Mexico City’s National Museum of Anthropology, discovering the loot has a story rather than a price. Winner of the Silver Bear for Best Screenplay at the 2018 Berlinale, in collaboration with I Wonder Pictures. Hosted by Gian Marco Magnani, the festival’s organisational director.
