NEPHESH. Proteggere l’ombra (Protecting the Shadow): A Walking Sound Performance at the Osservanza Cemetery
From 14 to 18 October 2026, at 5:00 PM, the Osservanza Cemetery in Faenza (Via Guglielmo Marconi 34) hosts “NEPHESH. Proteggere l’ombra”, a walking performance conceived, directed and written by Alessandro Renda, with text by Tahar Lamri and Alessandro Renda, sound design by Francesco Tedde, produced by Albe/Ravenna Teatro.
What is our relationship with our bodies and nature, with time and the fear of emptiness? A group of 20 people, wearing headphones, is guided by a sound dramaturgy along a route among tombs and headstones, inscriptions and sculptures: a time for listening, reflecting on the power of memory and the transience of human life, opening a passage between those who came before us, ourselves and those who will follow.
