04 Park Monte Coralli in Faenza is preparing to host one of the most spectacular and eagerly awaited motorsport events of the 2026 season. On Saturday, July 11, 2026, the circuit will stage the first-ever night race in the history of the Italian National Championship: the Night Race, the fifth and penultimate round of the Italian Pro-Prestige MX1-MX2 Championship.
Moto Club 04 Park, led by former MotoGP World Champion Andrea Dovizioso, has been working for months to prepare this landmark event. As the penultimate race of the season, championship standings remain extremely close, promising thrilling battles under the floodlights.
Categories and Riders to Watch
MX1 Class: Wide Open Championship Battle
- The situation: Four different winners in the first four rounds highlight one of the closest championships in recent years.
- Championship contenders: Slovenian rider Jan Pancar (KTM) arrives in Faenza as championship leader, followed closely by Ivo Monticelli (Kawasaki) and Alessandro Lupino (Ducati). Also in contention are Yuri Quarti (Husqvarna) and French rider Cedric Soubeyras (Honda).
- Riders to watch: Brian Hsu, Nicholas Lapucci and Filippo Zonta remain strong podium contenders, while reigning champion Isak Gifting could make a surprise return after recovering from injury.
