“Campo Aperto Tells Stories”: Presentation of “Ottantuno” by Isacco Emiliani in Faenza

The Campo Aperto Social Center in Faenza is preparing to host a new event in the “Campo Aperto racconta…” series, promoted by Auser Campo Aperto. On Monday, July 13, 2026, starting at 6:00 PM, an evening open to citizens and families will take place, organized in collaboration with the Family Center of the Unione della Romagna Faentina, the Manfrediana Library, AXAT FAENZA, and Encefali a Remi.

The initiative is designed as an opportunity for connection and exchange between different generations, combining recreational activities for children, convivial moments, and an important cultural and photographic focus.

Evening Program (Monday, July 13, 2026)

    • 6:00 PM: Official opening of the event and welcome.

    • 6:30 PM (Running throughout the evening):
      • Children’s readings organized by the Manfrediana Library and volunteers from Nati per Leggere.
      • Soft play area dedicated to children aged 0–6, managed by the Family Center of the Unione della Romagna Faentina.
      • Creative activities and games for older children led by animators from AXAT FAENZA and Encefali a Remi.

    • 7:00 PM – Aperi-dinner: A convivial gathering in the social center’s park. Participation is free for children up to 10 years old, while the cost is €15.00 for adults and children over 10 (advance booking is required).

  • 8:00 PM – Presentation of the book “Ottantuno”: Public meeting with the author, Faenza-based photographer and filmmaker Isacco Emiliani. During this presentation, the children’s play areas will remain supervised and active, allowing adults to enjoy the talk with complete peace of mind.

Focus on the book “Ottantuno”: The publishing project tells the story of seven years of nighttime walks undertaken by the author with his grandfather in search of the region’s monumental trees. It is a journey that intertwines documentary photography, the historical memory of the natural landscape, and the deep personal bond between grandfather and grandson. The project is supported by the National Park of the Casentino Forests, Monte Falterona and Campigna, as well as the Jane Goodall Institute.
