Mondial Tornianti: “Io, il tornio e lo scuro” – Blindfolded Throwing Performance
On Saturday 5 September 2026, Piazza della Libertà in Faenza will host another highlight of the Mondial Tornianti programme: the special evening event “Io, il tornio e lo scuro”.
Organised in collaboration with Cibas Impasti, the performance will see master potters working on the wheel completely blindfolded. It is a remarkable test of skill and tactile sensitivity, in which control over shape and material relies entirely on touch and the memory of movement.
