Special Screening of “There’s Still Tomorrow” in Granarolo: Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the Italian Republic
On Monday, 1 June 2026, from 9:00 PM to 11:30 PM, the community of Granarolo will host an important cultural and civic event celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic and the first time women voted in Italy. Admission is free, and the evening will feature a special screening of the acclaimed film “There’s Still Tomorrow”, written, directed and starring Paola Cortellesi.
The Evening Programme: “Women and the Constitution”
Organised by local volunteer groups, the event aims to be both a celebration and a moment of historical reflection. The film screening will be preceded by an introductory talk of significant civic importance.
- Opening Address: Delivered by Antonella Baccarini on behalf of the Faenza Committee for the Promotion and Defence of the Constitution.
- Conference Theme: Entitled “Women and the Constitution”, the talk will reflect on the importance of women’s suffrage and the historic journey that led to universal voting rights in Italy eighty years ago.
A meaningful initiative at the heart of the local community, celebrating democracy, constitutional values and the birth of the Italian Republic through the power of contemporary cinema.
