Saturday is… books, cuddles, and nursery rhymes in the park! Outdoor readings for the little ones
In the months of June and July 2026, the long-awaited series of outdoor meetings “Saturday is… books, cuddles, and nursery rhymes in the park! returns. The series, dedicated to readings aloud in Faenza’s city parks, is designed specifically for all girls and boys aged 0 to 6 years and their families.
The schedule of events and age groups
The program includes two Saturday mornings full of stories and imagination, divided into specific time slots depending on the age of the little listeners:
- Saturday, June 20, 2026 – Vespignani Park (Via Corbari, Faenza)
* 10:00 AM: Readings and nursery rhymes for babies aged 0 to 12 months.
* 11:00 AM: Stories and tales for children aged 1 to 6 years. - Saturday, July 4, 2026 – Tassinari Park (Entrances from Via Orto Sant’Agnese / Via Cavour, Faenza)
* 10:00 AM: Readings and nursery rhymes for babies aged 0 to 12 months.
* 11:00 AM: Stories and tales for children aged 1 to 6 years.
The initiative is graphically enhanced by illustrations by Inbar Heller Algazi, taken from the children’s book “The Treasure Box” (Babalibri Editions).
How to Participate and Useful Information
To encourage maximum participation and spontaneous meetings, admission is completely free for all participants. Space is limited to the capacity of the dedicated areas in the parks, so advance reservations by phone or digitally are not required.
