"Sentieri & Sapori 2026": a focus on excursions in the Faentina Romagna region
The traveling food and wine festival "Sentieri & Sapori. Landscapes of Romagna" is back, a project promoted by CNA in collaboration with the Ferrara Ravenna Chamber of Commerce and Assicoop Romagna Futura. Accompanied by expert Environmental Hiking Guides (GAE), participants will experience splendid outdoor walks combined with the discovery of traditional local flavors.
Below is an exclusive selection of events in the municipalities of Romagna Faentina (Brisighella, Faenza, Castel Bolognese, and Riolo Terme; there are no dates in the Casola Valsenio and Solarolo areas for the current edition).

New for 2026: Thanks to the synergy with IF (Imola Faenza Tourism Company), starting this year it is possible to combine excursions with an overnight stay on site, transforming a single Sunday walk into a weekend trip to discover the Faenza hills.
Participation fees, times, and registration procedures
The walks are easy, suitable for anyone with a minimum of walking training, and enriched by the narration of local stories and anecdotes along the way.
- Time: Meeting point at 8:30 directly at the relevant food and wine establishment; the walk starts at 9:00. Return is expected after approximately 3 hours.
- Prices of the packages (including the GAE guide service):
- Hike with guide + Full Lunch: €30.00
- Hike with guide + Tasting: €20.00
Reservations: Registrations are made by contacting the individual agritourisms, wineries, or partner restaurants for each specific stage directly.Equipment required: Trekking shoes or footwear with non-slip soles (mandatory), comfortable clothing suitable for the season, personal backpack with water supply and waterproof raincoat.Technical notes: The itineraries may be subject to last-minute logistical changes at the sole discretion of the guides in the event of Inclement weather or poor trail conditions.
