“Glaze, Kiln and Coffee in Two Acts”: a Ceramic Workshop and Exhibition at Paola Nuovo Gómez’s Atelier
During Faenza’s ceramic arts days, Paola Nuovo Gómez’s Atelier hosts the experiential workshop “Glaze, Kiln and Coffee in Two Acts”, accompanied by a sculpture exhibition by Greek artist Angeliki Drossaki.
Participants will have the opportunity to decorate and personalise an original ceramic filter coffee kit (a V60 dripper) using glazes and clays from the Faenza area, following every stage of the process, from decoration and firing through to opening the kiln and unveiling the finished piece.
The Workshop Programme (Two Acts)
-
- Act One – Creation (Friday 4 September, 9:00 am–12:30 pm):
A hands-on workshop to personalise your own filter coffee kit, guided by ceramic artist Paola Nuovo Gómez. The activity will take place alongside “Le signore di Forlì”, a series of sculptures by Angeliki Drossaki.
- Act One – Creation (Friday 4 September, 9:00 am–12:30 pm):
- Act Two – Discovery and Collection (Sunday 6 September):
