“Terr.òn – Landscapes of Earth: Create Your Own!”: Workshop Sessions at Quazàr
On Saturday 5 September 2026, Quazàr will host the hands-on sessions of “Terr.òn”, an innovative participatory architecture project conceived by Viola Toccafondi, using hands-on modelling with terracotta and raw earth.
Through a playful and practical approach, participants will take part in a collective building game to imagine new urban scenarios for the city of Faenza, focusing on the relationship between the historic city centre and the Lamone River. The landscapes created during the workshop sessions will be shared with the Municipality of Faenza, contributing to reflections and discussions on future urban planning.
Workshop Times
- ☀️ Morning Session: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.
- Afternoon Session: 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
Modelling Game Details
- Players: From 4 to 6 participants per session.
- Recommended age: 10 and over.
- ⏱️ Session duration: Between 60 and 90 minutes, with flexible timing.
- Goal: To create and share a vision of the desired future urban landscape.
