Tomo Hirai: A Tribute to Carlo Zauli, at the Museo Carlo Zauli
On Saturday 10 October 2026, at 7:00 PM, the Museo Carlo Zauli in Faenza opens “Tomo Hirai: A Tribute to Carlo Zauli”, curated by Monica and Matteo Zauli, as part of Ottobre Giapponese 2026.
The exhibition celebrates Carlo Zauli on the centenary of his birth, tracing an artistic journey spanning over fifty years dedicated to ceramic art. In this series, Tomo Hirai reflects on an iconic motif of his own work — the fragmented sphere — reinterpreted here in a more romantic, decorative key, typical of his most recent output.
