The drawings of Felice Giani at the Central Institute for Graphics

A journey through the notebooks and loose sheets of the Giani collection preserved in Rome. The conference will present the most significant works that will soon undergo major restoration, highlighting the drawing genius of the artist who decorated Faenza itself.

Towards a preventive and programmed conservation of Palazzo Milzetti
Curated by M. Pretelli, A. Ugolini, L. Melandri, and E. Rossoni.
In collaboration with the University of Bologna, the meeting presents the results of research on the state of conservation and microclimatic monitoring of the Palace, using innovative digital tools for the conscious management of architectural heritage.

Palazzo Guiccioli in Ravenna: a poet’s rooms
Curated by Francesca Lui and Alberta Fabbri.
An investigation into the wall decorations of Giani’s heritage in the new home of the Byron Museums. It will explore the interiors where Lord Byron resided between 1820 and 1821, recently restored according to neoclassical canons.
