Journey to Japan: Adult Workshop on Neriage and Nerikomi
On Saturday 7 November 2026, from 2:30 to 5:00 PM, MIC Faenza presents “Viaggio in Giappone” (Journey to Japan), a workshop dedicated to Neriage and Nerikomi, two traditional Japanese ceramic techniques that create decorative effects by layering differently coloured clays. Through kneading, cutting and composing, participants will discover how colour contrasts give rise to ever-new and unexpected patterns, veining and decorations.
