Summer Tuesdays 2026: Guided Tours with Pro Loco Faenza APS
As part of Faenza’s popular Summer Tuesdays programme, Pro Loco Faenza APS is offering a series of three special evening guided tours to discover the city’s history, art and traditions. Led by professional tour guides registered with the Italian Ministry of Tourism, each tour begins at 8:45 pm.
Participation requires a minimum contribution of €3.00 per person, which Pro Loco will entirely dedicate to cultural initiatives benefiting the city of Faenza.
Guided Tour Programme (July 2026)
️ Tuesday, July 14, 2026 (8:45 pm) – The Town Hall and Its State Rooms
- Meeting point: Pro Loco headquarters, Voltone Molinella.
- ♿ Accessibility: This tour is fully accessible.
- Tour highlights: Discover the historic building that has housed Faenza’s civic government since the 13th century. Originally the residence of the Captain of the People, later home to the Manfredi family and eventually the Papal Government Palace in the 18th century, it preserves magnificent Rococo frescoes by Vittorio Maria Bigari and Stefano Orlandi in its ceremonial rooms. Visitors will also admire elegant Neoclassical decorations by Domenico Gallamini, Gaspare Mattioli and Antonio Liverani in two intimate private rooms inspired by the style of Felice Giani.
Tuesday, July 21, 2026 (8:45 pm) – Historic Workshops of Faenza: Artisans, Artists and Local Traditions

- Tour highlights: A guided walk through Faenza’s historic workshops, where visitors can discover the city’s rich artisan heritage, artistic craftsmanship and long-standing traditions of fine living.
⛪ Tuesday, July 28, 2026 (8:45 pm) – The Diocesan Museum: A Treasure Chest of Art, Faith and History
- Meeting point: Piazza XI Febbraio, 10 (outside the museum entrance).
- Tour highlights: Explore the remarkable collections of the Diocesan Museum, showcasing centuries of religious art, local history and the spiritual heritage of the Faenza community.
