Guided Tour in English: “Museum Masterpieces” at MIC Faenza
On Sunday 6 September 2026, the MIC (International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza) will offer a guided tour in English exploring the most representative and iconic works in the world’s largest collection of ceramic art.
The itinerary spans centuries of ceramic art history: from the Faenza Renaissance, with the renowned Julia Bela and Italian narrative ceramics, to the blue-and-white works of the Della Robbia workshop. The tour continues with the great masters of 20th-century art and design, including Pablo Picasso’s “Four Seasons” vase, Marc Chagall’s “Amoureuse” plate and designs by Gio Ponti, before moving on to works by leading artists of the second half of the 20th century, including Leoncillo Leonardi, Lucio Fontana, Carlo Zauli, Giacinto Cerone, Giosetta Fioroni and Alfonso Leoni.
