On Tuesday 9 March 2027, at 9:00 PM, Casa del Teatro in Faenza (Via Oberdan 7) presents “Vorrei una voce” (I Wish I Had a Voice), written and performed by Tindaro Granata, winner of the 2025 Hystrio Twister Award, produced by LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura in collaboration with Proxima Res.

A monologue born from the author’s encounters with high-security female inmates at Messina Prison, who use well-known songs by Italian singer Mina to express their inner world. Performed in playback, the songs become the stuff of dreams and a way to reflect on what it means to lose, and rediscover, the ability to dream.
