Every year, during spring, the Solarolo Ascension Festival takes place over five days, from late May to early June, combining religious devotion, culture, and entertainment.
The festival originates from the devotion to the Blessed Virgin of Health and has evolved into a highly anticipated civic event, with a packed schedule of shows, events, and markets for hobbyists and artisans.
The food stalls offer Romagna specialties every evening, with earlier openings on weekends; alongside them, international stands participate thanks to twin-town partnerships with Valle d’Aosta (Rhemes Notre Dame) and Germany (Kirchheim am Ries), bringing beer, traditional dishes, and international flavors. The culinary offer is complemented by live music, concerts, and cultural moments that fill the days and evenings with festivity.
Attending the Ascension Festival means enjoying a complete experience: religious tradition, festive atmosphere, local and international culinary specialties, and opportunities for socializing and fun for families and visitors. An event that celebrates spring, community, and cultural exchange through guests, art, flavors, and music.
