For four consecutive Sundays in November, Brisighella becomes an unmissable destination for lovers of authentic food, autumn aromas and food-and-wine experiences immersed in history and landscape. The Four Festivals for Three Hills combine themed food stalls, markets of local products and forgotten fruits, and traditional dishes carefully reinterpreted along the ancient alleyways of the medieval village.
Each Sunday has a different star: it begins with the Delights of Pork Festival, celebrating pork processing and the flavours of traditional charcuterie; continues with the Volpine Pear and Aged Cheese Festival, highlighting hill-grown varieties and locally matured cheeses; followed by the His Majesty the Truffle Festival, whose prized aroma enhances many traditional dishes; and concludes with the Olive Tree and Olive Oil Festival, a tribute to “Brisighello” DOP extra virgin olive oil and native cultivars.
The atmosphere is truly special: the historic centre, squares and streets are filled with music, entertainment and craft stalls, while visitors wander among the views of the three hills – the Rocca, the Clock Tower and the Monticino Sanctuary – savouring the material culture of the Lamone Valley.
Taking part means not only tasting, but experiencing a celebration of local traditions, territory and quality: intense aromas, genuine flavours and warm Romagna hospitality that turn every Sunday into an opportunity to discover Brisighella in a different light, rich in memory, nature and conviviality.
