CAI 511 Trail – From the center of Brisighella to the Vena del Gesso
For those who wish to visit the Vena del Gesso Romagnola Regional Park by train, the ideal starting point is the Brisighella train station, located along the scenic Faenza-Florence line. From here begins CAI Trail 511, dedicated to Luigi Rava, a notable figure from Faenza who played a key role in the Italian Alpine Club both locally and nationally.
Outside the station, in the square, there is a bulletin board with the hiking route map, guiding hikers through the trails of the protected area. This direct connection makes Brisighella station a perfect access point to explore on foot the natural landscapes and beauties of the Vena del Gesso Romagnola.
