A rustic and very simple dessert, yet truly tasty. It is served with a good glass of sweet Albana or Cagnina wine.
Ingredients and Preparation
- 300 g flour
- 5 or 6 tablespoons honey
- 2 eggs
- 1 glass of milk baking
- powder
- jam
- waxed paper for baking
Knead all the ingredients strictly by hand until you obtain a smooth, soft dough. Let it rest for half an hour, then roll it out with a rolling pin until you have a disk about half a centimeter thick. Place it on a baking tray lined with waxed paper. Cover the disk with homemade jam and garnish with strips of dough arranged in a lattice pattern. Bake in the oven at 180°C until fully golden.
