The Solarolo library was inaugurated on January 20, 1980, and is a member of the Romagna and San Marino Library Network. On June 8, 2013, the Library was dedicated to Mario Mariani, a 20th-century journalist and writer born in Solarolo.
The library's collection consists of approximately 30,000 documents.
Books for children and young adults, along with a selection of the most recent fiction and non-fiction for adults, are available on the ground floor. On the first floor, you will find additional fiction and non-fiction books, as well as a section dedicated to local history. The library also offers books in foreign languages and large-print editions.
The library promotes its collection and spreads the joy of reading through meetings with local schools, specialized projects, and author events. It participates in the "Nati per Leggere" (Born to Read) program, which it promotes through family meetings, training sessions, and readings curated by volunteers.
