In Faenza, there are approximately 150 new bicycles available through the municipal bike-sharing system, 100 of which are pedal-assist e-bikes. The service is provided by RideMovi, a leading company in the sustainable mobility sector already present in major Italian and European cities. Through a simple and intuitive app, users can "unlock" the bike, use it, and park it even in locations different from where it was picked up.
Bicycle racks are located in the historic center, at the railway station, and in the "park and ride" parking lots: mainly public parking areas outside the Historic Center, to facilitate the interchange for those arriving in the city by private vehicle.
How it works
Free-flow rental is a self-service system that allows the public to use a fleet of bicycles distributed within a delimited area (highlighted in yellow) and subsequently return them to different positions, leaving the vehicles available for the next users.
Parking is in "free-flow" mode throughout the territory, except for specific dedicated areas which, for better visibility, will have both horizontal and vertical signage. Users returning the vehicle to these areas will receive a €0.30 discount at the end of the ride. Bikes left by users outside of these spaces will be recovered by RideMovi and returned to the designated racks.
What you need
To use the bikes, including the electric ones, you must download the RideMovi application from the Play Store or App Store and follow the instructions provided by the app for both starting and ending the ride. Each bike is equipped with a QR code that the user, once the app is open, must scan to proceed with unlocking the vehicle.

Costs
The cost for the e-bike is €0.50 for unlocking and €0.20 per minute. For a traditional bicycle, the cost is €1.20 for each 20-minute ride. Minute packages with discounts for users and visitors to Faenza are also available and can be viewed on the dedicated offers page within the RideMovi application.
