Veniero Lombardi Park, also known as “Punta degli Orti”, is located near the Bocche dei Canali, in an area once dedicated to agricultural cultivation and greenhouses.
Having escaped urban development, it has preserved its landscape and natural character intact, and in 2015 it was transformed into a large public space dedicated to relaxation, wellbeing and social life.
Today it is a point of reference for the people of Faenza and beyond: a place visited throughout the year for walks, sports activities and moments spent outdoors.
Alongside well-equipped fitness areas that allow visitors to exercise in the open air, the park hosts a small exhibition space dedicated to the history of beekeeping and the enhancement of urban greenery. This is complemented by new play areas for children, making it an ideal destination for families as well.
Blending nature, health and leisure, Veniero Lombardi Park is today one of the most vibrant and beloved green areas in the city.
