Amid the Faentine hills, between greenery and open horizons, there is now a place where off-road riding is not just a sport, but an experience, training, and a vision for the future: 04 Park – Monte Coralli. A project with deep roots that looks forward. A dream that, step by step, has become reality.
At the heart of it all is the motocross track, active since 2023 but with a much older soul. The docufilm curated by FederMoto tells this evolution well: an idea born in 1973, when someone in these hills saw the potential of a space dedicated to the passion for dirt and knobby tires. From that seed came 04 Park: a terrain that has been reborn without losing its roots, preserving the authentic charm of “old-school” motocross, but adding something more: training, safety, and modern facilities.
On May 30, 2025, 04 Park and the FMI Federal Technical Center officially opened their doors with a highly anticipated event. Present were the Minister for Sport Andrea Abodi, FMI President Giovanni Copioli, MotoGP champion and project promoter Andrea Dovizioso via RPM S.r.l., Mayor Massimo Isola, and the deputy mayor. Scissors cut, applause, and a new chapter in sport and community life for Faenza began. This was the first sports facility completed thanks to PNRR funds (sport and inclusion), which enabled the regeneration of the Monte Coralli Cross Field with a total contribution of €4 million. The Municipality entrusted 20-year management to RPM S.r.l., led by Dovizioso, combining public and private efforts in a story of concrete collaboration.
Mayor Isola described it as a “perfect team effort” between the Municipality, Federation, and entrepreneurs, through which a shared dream took shape in record time.
The facilities include:
- The motocross track, active since summer 2023
- Enduro tracks and a bike area with pump track, MTB trails, and a shop
- Hospitality services and the MONO restaurant-bar, perfect for gathering around a table
A valuable space not just for riders, but for learners too
The FMI Federal Technical Center inside 04 Park houses offices, a classroom, and motorcycle storage. It is designed for “Talenti Azzurri” gatherings, safe driving courses (on and off-road), educational projects with schools, and technical training for riders and staff. 04 Park aims to be an inclusive space: from children approaching motocross to parents, from beginners seeking safe guidance to experienced enthusiasts.
The complex hosts events such as regional FMI races, the Supertrofeo SGR 04 Park by Night with summer night races, and many other initiatives already on the calendar.
Here, a sense of community extends beyond the track: the space is conceived as a place for meeting, education, and discovery. Former rider Dovizioso has created a project that guides Faenza toward a future where sport and territory nourish each other.
