The Persolino – Strocchi Professional Institute in Faenza is a unique excellence in the local landscape, operating as a fully functional 13-hectare educational farm.
Located on the picturesque "Persolino" hill, just a few kilometers from the city center, the farm serves as an open-air laboratory where students, guided by teachers and experts, manage the entire production cycle: from planting to bottling and labeling.
The production is diverse and honors local traditions, ranging from zero-mile fruit and vegetables (peaches, cherries, apricots) to a line of herbal body care products made with medicinal plants grown in the internal laboratory.
A highlight of the estate is the magnificent rose garden at the entrance, managed in collaboration with the University of Bologna.
Products and Winery
The heart of the winemaking activity is the "Leonardo da Vinci" Experimental Educational Cellar, where wines of significant quality are produced.
Among the most famous labels is the "Ultimo Giorno di Scuola" Albana di Romagna Passito DOCG, a symbol of the dedication and skills acquired by students throughout their studies.
All products, including a wide selection of wines, can be purchased at the farm's shop.
Choosing Persolino products means not only bringing the authenticity of the Faenza territory to the table but also directly supporting the education of future agricultural professionals, as all proceeds are reinvested into funding school and educational activities.
