Located in Castel Raniero, on the first hills of Faenza, the Quinzân farm is the life project of Pietro Bandini, a winemaker and musician who tends an 18-hectare estate purchased by his grandfather in 1947.
The farm is a model of biodiversity and organic agriculture, where rows of vines coexist with apricot, peach, kiwi, and persimmon trees, alongside farm animals and apiaries.
The heart of the wine production is the Savignone rosso (also known as Centesimino), a native grape variety that the Bandini family has preserved by carefully selecting cuttings from the most aromatic vines, resulting in a wine of sublime harmony that reflects the honest and poetic character of the clay soils of Castel Raniero.
Experiences and Hospitality:
Quinzân is not just a winery but one of the first "educational farms" in the Province of Ravenna, where rural culture is inextricably linked with folk music and the Romagna dialect.
A visit to the farm allows for the direct purchase of fresh fruit and certified organic wine, providing a unique experience where agricultural labor becomes artistic expression, aimed at passing on the sounds and emotions of an authentic and vital Romagna.
Pietro welcomes schools and visitors, offering paths ranging from the discovery of the vine's biological cycle to the revival of farmhouse traditions through folk songs and dances.
