This is the place where Guerrino Tramonti created and preserved his works, displayed according to the exhibition project he designed in 1987, transforming spaces that had previously been used for kilns, his workshop, and the store.
Tramonti entrusted the house project to a Roman friends’ studio, architects Silvano Panzarasa and Giuliana Genta, one of the first women in Italy to practice the profession. Here, the artist lived and worked from 1958 until his death.
The permanent exhibition houses 400 works that narrate the artist’s creative journey and his ability to work across multiple techniques, from terracotta sculpture to oil painting, including ceramics, in which he was a master.
Today the museum is managed by the artist’s family, who welcome visitors as guests and guide them through the collections with stories, memories, and anecdotes, offering an engaging and authentic experience.
Included in the National Museum System and recognized among the Houses and Studios of Distinguished People in Emilia-Romagna, the Casa Museo Tramonti thrives thanks to the dedication of the artist’s children.
