Located at the foot of the Vena del Gesso Park and touched by the Senio River, the Bertoni Agricultural Estate is a historic family business now in its third generation.
Spanning 43 hectares, with 13 dedicated to Guyot-trained vineyards, the family produces distinctive wines such as Albana, Sangiovese, Trebbiano, and Famoso, all expressing a clay-rich terroir that provides structure and identity. In addition to viticulture, the estate is a local landmark for fruit growing, offering apricots, nectarines, pears, and kiwis that follow the natural rhythm of the seasons. The Bertoni philosophy combines ancient farming wisdom with modern technology to ensure genuine fruit and harmonious wines, crafted through selective harvesting and meticulous aging.
Hospitality and Purchasing
The heart of the estate's hospitality is the Bottega Bertoni, a dedicated farm shop where visitors can purchase daily fresh vegetables, sun-ripened fruit, wines, and their famous homemade fruit juices, also available through their online store.
The experience is rounded out at the Agriristorante, where the kitchen interprets the seasons in a convivial and festive atmosphere. The garden, vineyards, and orchards serve as natural stages for events, graduation parties, and live concerts, making Bertoni a unique gathering spot between Castel Bolognese and Riolo Terme, transforming the "zero-mile" concept into a complete sensory and cultural journey.
