Birrificio Valsenio is a small artisanal gem nestled in the side of the Senio Valley, near the Poggio Nero spring in Baffadi, Casola Valsenio.

Founded in 2009 by Davide Finoia, the brewery was born from a conscious choice to live and produce in a region where nature is vibrant and flavors retain their ancient authenticity.

The production philosophy relies on small-scale equipment that allows for meticulous care in every stage of the brewing process, turning water, malt, and hops into honest and straightforward beers. Passion and creative joy are the invisible ingredients that turn every sip into a story of the surrounding Apennine landscape.

Direct sales

The Valsenio range includes ten different beers covering various styles and traditions: from classic English and American inspirations to organic brews, including gluten-free variants and local specialties like Ramona Bio, made with prized local chestnuts. Notable labels include the Poggio Nero stout, the Caveja weizen, and the Nadel Christmas beer.

The brewery offers direct sales of bottles and merchandise at its headquarters and is an essential stop for those wishing to experience the magic of artisanal brewing in a rural setting where the scent of fermenting wort blends with the aroma of freshly cut hay and the deep forest.
